This page is the flat lookup for every enumerated value. Each table lists the values and a one-line meaning; the full definition of each concept lives on its owner page, linked from the section heading.

## Job status

`status` on the job object. The `status` query filter is on [`GET /v2/groups/{group_id}/jobs`](/reference/groups#list-group-jobs), not on `GET /v2/jobs`.

| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `queued` | Job accepted and waiting to be processed. |
| `running` | Job is being processed. |
| `done` | Processing completed; `result` contains the full analysis. |
| `failed` | Processing ended without a result. |
| `timed-out` | Processing did not complete in time. |

## Job type

`job_type` on the job object. It selects which discriminator is non-null and which `result` shape the response carries.

| `model` | Model job. `model_name` is set; `sign_name` is `null`; `result` holds `summary` plus `signals[]`. |
| `sign` | Sign job. `sign_name` is set; `model_name` is `null`; `result` holds a singular `signal` object. |

## Level

`summary.overall_level`, `signals[].level`, and `signal.level`. Definitions and the score-to-level calibration note are owned by [Signal levels](/guides/interpreting-results#signal-levels).

## Recommended action

## Value interpretation

## Model names

Valid `{model_name}` path values and the `model_name` field on a model job are listed in the [Model Catalog](/catalogs/models). These docs use `pulse` in examples.

## Sign names

Values that appear as `signals[].name` on a model job and as `signal.name` on a sign job are listed in the [Sign Catalog](/catalogs/signs). Use that page for labels, evidence tiers, and which names are valid on the [Sign API](/reference/signs) versus [model-internal](/catalogs/signs#model-internal-signs).

## Audio quality issue codes

Values that can appear in `audio_quality.issues`. The effect of each code and its recommended action are owned by [Audio quality issue codes](/guides/audio-requirements#audio-quality-issue-codes).

## Speech feature IDs

Values that appear as `vocal_features[].feature`, with the `label` and `unit` returned alongside each one.

| `pitch_variability` | Pitch Variability | ratio | How much the pitch fluctuates — monotone vs. expressive |
| `loudness_mean` | Average Loudness | dB | The average equivalent sound level in decibels |
| `loudness_variability` | Loudness Variability | ratio | How much the loudness changes over time — dynamic range |
| `speech_rate` | Speech Rate | syllables/s | Speed of speech including pauses, in syllables per second |
| `articulation_rate` | Articulation Rate | syllables/s | Speed of speech excluding pauses — how fast words are actually spoken |
| `pause_duration_mean` | Average Pause Duration | s | How long the average silence or pause lasts between words |
| `voice_jitter` | Voice Roughness (Jitter) | % | Micro-fluctuations in pitch. High values sound raspy, gravelly, or creaky |
| `voice_shimmer` | Voice Shimmer | dB | Micro-fluctuations in volume. High shimmer can sound breathy or unstable |
| `voice_clarity_hnr` | Voice Clarity (HNR) | dB | Harmonic-to-Noise Ratio. Higher values mean a clearer, less noisy voice |
| `voice_breathiness` | Voice Breathiness | dB | A measure of breathiness. Higher values indicate a breathier voice |

Each recording is analyzed using thousands of acoustic speech features spanning timing, energy, spectral content, and vocal quality. The features above are the interpretable subset the API exposes — a human-readable window into a much broader feature space driving the models.
